About me

Iain McKinnon is CEO of the Global Disability Innovation Hub CIC (GDI Hub) a research and practice centre based at University College London (UCL). Their mission is to accelerate ideas into impact for a more just world, for disabled people and all people. GDI Hub works towards a world without barriers to participation, where everyone has the opportunity to live a joyful life.

Iain McKinnon originally trained as a Product Design Engineer and has worked exclusively on Disability Inclusion since 2005. Mr. McKinnon's background focuses on inclusive design of the built environment where he now has 20 years experience and is a leading voice on Inclusive Cities.
