Erol Kiresepi

Born in Istanbul, Mr. Kiresepi completed his studies on Chemical Engineering and received his Master’s Degree in Business Administration at Bogazici University.

Mr.Kiresepi is the CEO of Santa Farma Pharmaceuticals.

He worked as a Board Member at the Chemical, Petroleum, Rubber and Plastic Industries Employer’s Association of Turkiye (KIPLAS) from 1977 to 2003, and currently serves as its
Vice- President since 2003.

 Mr. Kiresepi is Board Member at the Union of Chambers of Commerce Pharmaceutical Sector Assembly of Turkey and Board Member at the Turkiye-İtaly Business Council Executive Board of the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK)

Mr. Kiresepi has been Member of the Governing Body of the Turkish Confederation of Employer Associations (TİSK) between 2002-2008 and 2014-2019 where he served as
Vice-President from 2014 to 2016.

Mr. Kiresepi served all G20 presidencies since 2011 as a member of B20 Employment Task Force, of which he became co-chair in 2017 until 2021. He was appointed by the Turkish Government in 2015 as one of the seven members of the B20 Turkiye Executive Committee.

 Mr. Kiresepi became President of the International Organisation of Employers (IOE) in June 2017. And at the end of his mandate in June 2021, IOE General Council has elected
Mr. Kiresepi as ‘IOE Honorary President’ to be effective as of June 1, 2021 in recognition of his exemplary commitment and dedication to the organisation and the global employer cause.
