About me
Dragana Ciric Milovanovic is a psychologist and a human rights advocate. Dragana is currently acting as Inclusive Development Advisor of Disability Rights International, international advocacy organization dedicated to protection and oversight of the rights of persons with disabilities worldwide. She is also a founder of Mental Disability Rights Initiative in Serbia (MDRI-S) founded in 2008 to support national advocacy movement of persons with intellectual and mental disabilities and perform oversight of their human rights in Serbia. Dragana is experienced global policy and advocacy professional and program leader with over 15 years of expertise in advancing child rights and protection, disability inclusion, and social care reform. Skilled in high-level advocacy, policy development, and international collaboration, with a proven track record of influencing systemic change through partnerships with international organizations, UN bodies, and governments. Recognized for leading global initiatives on deinstitutionalization, safeguarding vulnerable children, and promoting social inclusion.
