United Disabled Persons of Kenya (UDPK) was established and registered on 3rd Feb 1989 as the national federation of organizations of persons with disabilities in Kenya. The organization exists to advocate for equal access to opportunities and active participation of persons with disabilities in mainstream development processes. UDPK’s mandate is advocating for the rights of persons with disabilities in all spheres of life. It is committed to ensuring persons with disabilities share an equal platform and enjoy their rights across all sectors of development UDPK’s vision is to realize an inclusive society where all persons with disabilities enjoy their human rights and realize their full potential. Our mission is to promote full, effective, and meaningful participation of persons with disabilities and their representative organizations in all spheres of life as enshrined in legal frameworks

About me

I work with United Disabled Persons of Kenya (UDPK). Together with dynamic colleagues we strengthen capacities of OPDs and ensure that UDPK's advocacy activities advance the interests of persons with disabilities, especially the priorities of under-represented disability groups including those of women and girls with disabilities.
