Sightsavers is an international organisation working with governments and partners in more than 30 low and middle income countries across Africa and Asia to: tackle avoidable blindness and vision impairment, including cataract and refractive errors such as short-sightedness, treat and eliminate neglected tropical diseases, and, create a more equal world where people with disabilities can access health care, education and employment without discrimination As part of our mission to target inequality, Sightsavers leads the Inclusive Futures consortium. At Sightsavers, we protect sight. We eliminate diseases. We fight for equality. And with your support, we can do even more. Since our founding in 1950, upholding disability rights and promoting inclusion have been at the heart of our work. Together with our partners, funders, and donors, we advocate for everyone's right to education, employment, healthcare, and full participation in society, but there is more to do.
