Fireside Chat Area 2: Accessible MENA: Launch Event for GIZ-Initiative on Digital Inclusion
The fireside chat serves as the official launch of the newly initiated GIZ-measure “Accessible MENA: Digital Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities” (see description below). At the centre of the fireside chat is a moderated interview and discussion between stakeholders from civil society and the private sector to take stock of the realities in the MENA region and to explore innovative approaches to enhance digital inclusion – such as ‘accessibility labs’ that drive and safeguard digital inclusion by involving persons with disabilities. The discussion shall also examine advocacy strategies and alliances between OPDs and further Civil Society Actors, the public and the private sector with the purpose of promoting digital inclusion.
