About me

Senior Researcher for GDI Hub, specialising in research and consultancy on disability inclusion and private sector strategy and practice, financial inclusion and employment for people with disabilities. Main research and consultancy delivered for Multilateral Development Bank and Financial Services Stakeholders.

Prior to joining GDI Hub, Pollyanna was a Senior Analyst at Financial Services Culture Board (FSBC), responsible for managing and conducting research and reporting on firms’ organisational cultures to help raise standards of behaviour and competence across the sector, for the benefits of customers, clients and society. Pollyanna’s expertise and interests include diversity, equity and inclusion within financial services and she was previously Chair of FSCB’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee.

From a background in anthropology, Pollyanna is motivated to leverage rigorous qualitative research into intelligent solution design and impact for equity and inclusion. Pollyanna went on to become a fellow and member of the Royal Anthropological Institute’s Anthropology of Policy and Practice Committee which provides a forum for discussion of ethnographic and anthropological research on policy making and practices in health, development, humanitarian, public sector, Parliament, corporate and civil society organisations (from 2022-2025).
