The League of Arab States is a Regional Organization established on 22/03/ 1945, Headquarters based in Cairo, Egypt has 22 Member States.
The League of Arab States mandates focuses on strengthening relations between its member states, by issuing political, economic, and social resolutions as well as coordinating political aims, and co-operation between them while safeguarding the independence and sovereignty of each member state. Over the years, the League of Arab States has created frameworks for pan-Arabic cooperation on political, security, economic and legal issues by implementing the decisions issued from both councils The Economic and Social Council and the Arab League Council Affairs.
The League of Arab States holds annual summits for heads of state and bi-annual meetings for foreign ministers to address key regional issues. Emergency sessions can also be called when needed.
